![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Day 1 Arrive Korea Upon arrival at Incheon Airport in Seoul, you are met by our Driver and transferred to your Hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Day 2 - Seoul (breakfast inc) Morning city tour of Seoul provides a fascinating insight into this historic city. The tour includes Passing by the Blue House (Presidential residence), visiting Gyeongbok palace (built in 1395 by the first King of the Joseon Kingdom), Folklore Museum and Jogyesa Temple. Day 3 - Seoul - Korean folk village or DMZ tour (optional) (breakfast inc) Today you have a full day to explore the exciting city of Seoul on your own or take one of the following optional excursions: Optional tour 1: After breakfast your guide will meet you in the hotel lobby for your tour to a traditional Korean folk village. The Korean Folk Village is a living museum where you can enjoy live performances which highlights the traditional customs and culture of 19th century Chosun Dynasty Korea. The hand crafted reconstructed village provides an unique glimpse into the diverse architectural structures of the wealthy aristocrats and the humble dwelling of the farmers. Optional tour 2: Full day Panmunjeom Demilitarised zone (DMZ) tour. Panmunjeom is the historic location where the armistice was signed in 1953 ending the 3 year Korean War. Literally on the border between the democratic South and communist North, you will be able to look across the Border into the world's most sealed-off society, North Korea. Note: All visitors to the DMZ must conform to the strict dress code, access may be denied to visitors wearing jeans, sandals, shorts, miniskirt, revealing clothes or military style outfits. You must also have your passport on hand. In any circumstance that Panmunjeom tour is not available due to military operation or meetings, the tour will be substituted with the Demilitarises zone tour (DMZ tour). The DMZ tour has the following itinerary: 3rd Infiltration Tunnel, Dora Observatory, Station, Unification Village on the way to Imjinkak Pavilion & Freedom Bridge. Day 4 - Seoul - Jeju (breakfast inc) After breakfast take an unassisted transfer to Gimpo airport for your flight to Jeju (Taxi to airport takes 30 to 40min, costing approx 25,000 to 30,000 KRW or £10-£25). Upon arrival at Jeju airport you will meet your english speaking guide and visit the Jeju Folklore, Museum of Natural History. Tour to Yongduam Rock which resembles a dragon with its mouth open as if it might fly into the sky. Motorbike show (optional USD10). Transfer to Hotel Check in at hotel and take a rest. Day 5 - Jeju (breakfast & lunch inc) After breakfast at the Hotel, tour to Cheonjiyeon Waterfall. Visit Gyulimseong (tangerine farm and special products), Cruise tour (Optional KRW 15,000). After Lunch, Tour to O’Sulloc Tea House (green tea museum), Hallim Park and Yongmeori (dragon head shore). Nature dyeing experience (Optional KRW 10,000) Transfer to our hotel and check in for the night. Day 6 - JEJU - Busan (breakfast & lunch inc) Afte Breakfast, experience Mysterious Road, a parked car on a slight hill road rolls uphill instead of going down hill. Visit Seongeup Folk Village where ancient customs are still well preserved. Driving along the coastal highway before being transferred to the airport and depart for Busan. Upon arrival at Busan you will meet your guide who will take you to visit Jagalchi fishery market and Yongdusan park. After the tour you will be taken to your hotel in Busan & have the rest of the day at your leisure. Day 7 - Busan - Gyeongju (breakfast & lunch inc) After breakfast, we transfer to Gyungju, known as the 'Museum without walls'. Our tour includes visiting the UNESCO's prestigious World Heritage sights of the Seokgulam Grotto and Bulguksa Temple. We later move on to see the Gyeongju National Museum, Cheomseongdae and the famous Bomun lake resort. After a long day of sightseeing we check in to your hotel in Gyeongju. Day 8 Gyeongju - Andong Danyang Mt.Seorak (breakfast & lunch inc) Today we transfer to Andong Hahoe Village, which takes you back in time to the Chosun Dynasty and highlights the unique architecture and village structure of ancient times. You then have opportunity to take an optional tour to Danyang Dodam Sambong 15,000KWN. This optional tour takes you to Gwongemseong Castle in Seorak National Park. The famous castle is located 860m above sea level and the scenery of Mt.Seorak is regarded to be one of the most beautiful in Korea (option excursion is to take the Gwongemseong cable car for fantastic views across the national park 12,000KWN). After the tour we take you back to your hotel to relax. Day 9 Mt.Seorak - Goseong - Seoul (breakfast & lunch inc) Following breakfast in your hotel, we take a tour to visit the fascinating Goseong Unification Observatory. Following which we have a rest to enjoy our lunch before transferring back to Seoul to check into your hotel. Rest of day free at leisure. Day 10 - Seoul - UK (breakfast inc) Our Driver will meet you at the hotel and transfer you to Incheon airport for your departure flight to the UK.
