Itinerary

Day 01: SAIGON - SA DEC - CHAU DOC Overland to explore Mekong Delta via Sa Dec Town, famed with Sa Dec Flower Garden - one of flower growing centers of Vietnam. Proceed to Tan Quy Dong Commune to visit the famous flower village, home to 50 varieties of rose and more than 500 other types of plants. Leave for Chau Doc Town. On arrival visit Sam Mountains, Lady Xu Temple, Thoai Ngoc Hau and Tay An Pagoda. Transfer to the hotel. Free at leisure. Overnight in Chau Doc.    Chau Doc scenery (source: Internet)   Day 02: CHAU DOC - HA TIEN (B) Morning boat cruise on the Mekong River to visit a floating village and floating fish farms, landing at the Cham village, an Islamic minority people in Vietnam. Visit the home of Cham weavers and the local mosque, where Cham children learn Arabic. Leave Chau Doc for Ha Tien. On arrival visit Mac Cuu Temple, Thach Dong Pagoda. Then, transfer to the hotel. Free at leisure. Overnight in Ha Tien. Day 03: HA TIEN - CA MAU (B) Morning tour to visit Chua Hang (Cave Pagoda). Then, depart to Ca Mau and admire the beautiful scenery of the countryside on the way. On arrival visit Ca Mau Bird Park where you can enjoy magnificent sight as thousands of storks returning home at sunset. Transfer to the hotel. Free at leisure. Drive to Nam Can Town where you will take a one-hour speed boat cruise to Ca Mau Cape. Then, visit the National Coordinate Landmark GPS 0001. Depart a return boat trip to Nam Can and then rive back to Ca Mau. Overnight n Ca Mau.   Fishing on Mekong River   Day 05: CA MAU - SOC TRANG - CAN THO (B) Overland to Bac Lieu and visit Bac Lieu Bird Sanctuary, located in Hiep Thanh Commune. Proceed to Soc Trang. On arrival visit Bat and Clay Pagodas and Khmer Museum. Then, depart to Can Tho. Transfer to the hotel. Free at leisure.
